Went here via adventure001 guys for a helicopter experience. Very well organised and highly recommended. Pilot and staff friendly, knowledgeable and safe. Take cash for refreshments.

Stayed for a 5 night stay as a family of 6 adults 4 children. In the main house. House is very large with lots of character. House was very warm and cosy as the range cooker was on providing continuous heating. The kitchen is very warm. Plenty of cooking utensils. And large fridge freezer with ice machine. Very centrally located between Bakewell and buxton just minute from A6. Excellent views however it is in a very exposed location. Wouldn't want to be up on top of the hill during mid winter. The house does require decorating in places and there is signs of slight damp, but it is not unhealthy and I was not surprised in such an exposed location on top of the hill. When it was windy this week the wind howled and it rained sideways The showers are a bit hit and miss. The main bathroom shower was excellent.while some of the ensuite did not get that hot with low pressure. We searched the place for a hoover and dust pan and brush but could not find one. The place really needs a cordless Dyson so guest can clean on a daily basis or keep the place tidy. There is signs that work is on going with regards to upgrading the property. We could use breakfast room as it has experience wind damage. The pool was excellent for the kids. The pool room was hot as it has warm air heating. This makes the pool appear slightly cool, but the kids seemed to think it was the perfect temperature. They spent hours in it. Overall a excellent location. They owners really could spend a fortune and make this place a 5 star luxury holiday stay, but then the cost we would double. Great value for money.

Visited for the helicopter experience, the weather wasn't great so they had to push the times back for safety reasons which was understandable, there is an indoor waiting area with tables and chairs and they serve hot drinks and snacks. My partner enjoyed the helicopter ride, would recommend.

Moor Grange Farm provided the Ideal location for our family gathering. With 13 bedrooms and large kitchen dinner, extensive TV lounge there was plenty of room for everyone. The facility was kept at warm temperature throughout. In addition to the large living areas there is a large indoor swimming pool and games room containing table tennis, pool and table top football. Plenty of entertainment for everyone. An Ideal location for large family gatherings.

Didn't stay at the farm, went there for a bird of prey 3 hour experience. Absolutely brilliant! Really interesting, lots of interaction with the gorgeous birds from a very knowledgeable lady.

Lovely site for a quiet getaway. Went with a group of friends and had the whole site to ourselves. Comfortable beds and sofas and spotlessly clean. Pool was great. Tiny downsides (tiny) would have liked a hand rail into the pool - dodgy knee - and i wasn't sure where the secure dog field was. - found a field, but some of the walls were down, so not that one. But plenty of lead walking so not a problem. I would definitely stay there again.

We rented the whole place for a family gathering and it was very comfortable indeed. Warm in the very cold weather. Brilliantly equipped kitchen in the Manor which enabled us to cook for 21 people very easily. The swimming pool and games room were a real bonus. In spite of dreadful weather everyone had a fantastic time. Just be warned, it's 1400 feet above sea level and the weather can be very wild!
